The Oklahoma City Zoo broke ground for Oklahoma Trails on June 2004. It will� open on March 10, 2007 to the public and is 7.7 acres of fun. My daughter, Traci, is a junior curator at the zoo . Through her,� Linda and I, were able to attend a early review of Oklahoma Trails on Monday evening, March 5. Oklahoma Trails showcases species of animals native to Oklahoma. It is truly a unique encounter with naturalistic landscapes.

I GOT MY JOOST INVITE!!!

If you haven’t heard, Joost is a new global broadband television service venture from the people who brought us Skype.  It is hot in the bogisphere but that’s know why I have been egerly waiting for my invite to this service.  I believe everything is moving to a laptop near you. I don’t own a TV set but I watch what I want and where I want any time I want.  

I lisson to podcasts and even make a few of my own. I record high def broadcast TVwith my WinTV-HVR 950 , and I watch video casts with Democrecy .  I’ve owned a Tivo and built my own MythTV. Time shifting is great. But none of these thing get it yet. What is realy going to change the world is full on HD Video / Audio on demand through a web like interface.

We are not there yet. You can’t connect to the Internet with enuff bandwith just anywhere and even with broadband cable HD content can be slow.

But enough about what I want.  Should you get juiced about getting your account, or am I getting squised?

Julie Amero, substitute teacher, was convicted, of exposing children in her classroom Internet porn.� I believe this is a great injustice. I’ve read she was told to let the kids use the computer and not to turn it off.� I’ve also read the computer was an old Windows 95 system.� My experience tells me this computer was not well maintained.� I’d place a bet that it had never been updated. Evidence of this is the fact that the computer was running Internet Exployer 5.

Many of my friends have called to ask me how my job search is going. Thanks guys. Some times its hard to know how your friends are. People I thought of and treated as friends don’t return my calls. Some people who I didn’t know well have called me many times to cheer me up. Some have even given me job leads.� Thanks each of you. I have been without work for six week now but it has not been a vacation as my friends have suggested.
